Boar Tour and First Day of Classes
January 18, 2017
I haven't quit yet...although this post will be more of a timeline...
Yesterday after some UK history and culture lectures my dorm and the other small dorm with BU London went on a boat tour on the Thames River from Westminster to Greenwich. We passed by the big sights such as Big Ben, The London Eye (currently closed), and The Tower of London. When we got to the Greenwich Port I, along with six other friends, went to a very cute, very British tea shop where we had, of course, tea and crumpets. After that we went up the the Royal Observatory to stand on the Prime Meridian Line. We then spent the rest of the evening walking around Greenwich, heading back to Westminster, and taking an evening stroll home. We passed through Trafalgar Square, past Buckingham Palace, and under The Marble Arch. We also had to stop by the Casino right next door to our dorm...
Today the my class began at 9 am, and being a 4 hour class, it didn't let out until 1 pm. We took a break, but had there been no break, I do not think I would have had too much of a problem. This class is about British Television and today we discusses the interesting history of the BBC and the License you purchase when you buy a TV set that gives you the right to watch BBC channels. After class I met up with Nix, my friend from CMU who is studying costume design elsewhere here in London. We walked around Covent Gardens, got lunch at a Persian restaurant, and went through Piccadilly Circus so I could see it in the daylight. To finish the long day, I went on a BU sponsored trip to The Comedy Store to see an improv show.
Two busy days, and more to come.

There is a high powered laser that shines perfectly down the PML but they built a building in line with it so they had to shift the laser. I think that technically means they moved time

There is a light on...I think the queen is home.

We passed by a lot of stops on our hour walk home
